Ironwood looks local ahead of signing

Ironwood developers of the multi-million dollar golfing community say they are ready to look for local contractors to build out the East-West Arterial to Frank Sound Road.

This, even though government hasn’t officially signed up to the private public partnership yet. “That’s correct, nothing is finalised until the names are on the dotted line, but we have enough confidence that it is going to get done where we enter the mobilisation phase and look for local equipment to build the road,” said project developer James McVey.

Mr. McVey said the proposal concerning the road still has to go through the caucus and Cabinet for approval. He’s hoping to have that document signed in August and get shovels in the ground by November.
